Sensitive Fern

Common Name: Sensitive Fern

Latin name: Onoclea sensibilis

Time of Year: Deciduous; turns yellow/russet in Fall; dormant in Winter; emerges in Spring

Location: Nature Trail; (1) across Trail from the First Overlook; (2) to the right at the bottom of the First Bridge
