AVOID RIVERSIDE PARKING DECK- UPPER LEVEL
The Building Services Team is working on making sure our campus is safe for today’s snow event. There may be a good bit of icing with this event, as temperatures will be plummeting throughout the day.
We would like to remind you that the Upper Level of the Riverside Parking Deck will NOT be treated with chemical de-icing agents nor will it be plowed, per manufacturer’s recommendations. Therefore, if you are parked on the Upper Level, you should proceed with extra caution! It could become treacherous to even walk across and we advise you to avoid the area if possible. Thank you and stay safe!
BROOKHAVEN ELEVATOR RENOVATIONS
TK Elevator Company will be on site to begin work on the pair of elevators located in the Brookhaven Building starting Monday, November 10th and continuing over the next few months. One elevator at a time will be out of service for the duration of this project. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

WC EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS
WC decided a few years ago to use a service called Text-Em-All to communicate with residents if an emergency situation should arise on campus. All resident land lines have been added into the system.
The next step is to ask you, our residents, to opt-in to receiving text messages via your cell phones in one quick, easy step. (If you have already done this in the past, you do NOT need to do this again!)
Simply text the word
JOIN
to the number
434-826-2123
Your cell phone number will be
added to the system to receive messages.
Please do this ASAP!
FOR PATIENTS OF DR. LORD:
If Dr. Lord is your primary care provider, when you visit a specialist or go to the hospital, please tell them to send any reports or orders to Dr. Lord
at “Westminster Canterbury.” Too often, providers are sending reports to his office in Charlottesville instead. If you wish to provide the fax number to WC’s Resident Clinic, it is:
FAX# 434-386-3577
WHAT TO DO IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE COVID-19, FLU OR RSV
Please call the Resident Clinic if you believe you may have COVID, FLU or RSV symptoms and need to be tested. A nurse will call you for more information and obtain orders for testing if necessary. After regular business hours and on weekends, call the Assisted Living charge nurse at ext. 3593.
If you do not feel well and do need to come to the clinic or go anywhere on campus, please wear a mask. A mask should be worn until your symptoms have resolved. Thank you for your help in keeping us all safe and healthy!

PACKAGE PICK-UP ROOM OPEN
The new package pick-up room, entrance located by the cart storage area in the main lobby, will be open as of Monday, June 3rd. The front desk will process the packages and notify you when they are available for pick-up in the new room. Some things to note:
Large packages will continue to be delivered to your home
Please do NOT pick-up your neighbors' packages
Prescriptions and flowers will still be kept at the front desk for pick-up.
GREEN FOOD BOXES
Please return your green food boxes to the Cafe and open them so they stack easily.
