There are certain web pages that are formatted with what are called PDFs (Public Document Formats). Generally they provide greater presentation flexibility. Some of these can be quite long. "Handbook" and "Laws of Rubber Bridge" are especially long - - 60+ and 68 pages.
The Handbook has in it an active index. By following the instructions on the Handbook web page that active index is the best way to find what you are looking for. A click in the index will deliver you to its page. The "Laws" does not have such an index so it has to be searched as described below.
When you see any web page on this, as well as any other, site with the "pop out" icon you have a really detailed search option available. - - Click it!
On your laptop or desktop computer enter CTRL-F and it will yield a search field. Cell phones and iPads will have a "Find" option.
Enter your query and every occurrence will be highlighted. Subsequent "re-Enters" will move you through the various places it appears.
This web site (and many others) may show this "pop out" signal on pages like the Handbook and the Bridge Laws.
