Location; Wild Flower Garden; on side opposite from “Do Not Mow” sign, near the lower walkway
Attracts: Butterflies and other pollinators; Birds (especially Goldfinches) for the seeds
Special Notes: Larval plant host for Wavy-lined Emerald Moth and Silvery Checkerspot Butterfly.
Species name means that the flowers are shining and brightly colored.
