BRIDGE ETHICS AND ETIQUETTE
Do not bid or play your cards with special emphasis or use an inflection of your voice which would give your partner information on the nature of your hand.
Do not express pleasure or displeasure at a lead, play, bid, double or any other call partner or opponents make.
Do not use hesitation in bidding or playing as a way to deceive opponents or of signaling your partner.
Do not use a bid, double or redouble that is known to you and your partner, but not generally known to other players.
Do not take a trick before it is completed.
Do not lead to a new trick until the previous trick is completed.
Do not call partner’s attention to your score when you have a part score and a lower bid than usual will be enough for game. If you or your partner has made a revoke while playing the current hand, it is not your duty to call attention to this breach of rules.
Revoke: To fail to follow suit when a card of the suit led is in your hand.
Established Revoke: When you or your partner have led or played to the next trick after committing a revoke.
