Please join Dr. Charles Driscoll on President's Day as we look back at Abraham Lincoln's cabinet and the myriad of losses they suffered. Death and personal loss of loved ones was familiar to most families in Lincoln's day, much more so than today. But Lincoln's cabinet was particularly hard hit. Their stories are heart wrenching. They suffered from incredible sequences of events before, during and after their public service.

Join us for a lecture on Victorian burial customs with Ashleigh Meyer, Old City Cemetery's Manager of Historical Research. Ashleigh will discuss some of the more prominent Victorian customs, superstitutions, and expectations; what they were, where they came from, and how they were carried out. Old City Cemetery, founded in 1806, is home to aboutd 22,000 permanent "residents," most of whom were laid to rest during the Victorian period.

Join resident Dr. Jeffrey Wilson, MD, for a presentation titled "Breaking Bad and the 'WC Back." You and your bones are not 40 anymore. Dr. Wilson will explain why older people develop osteoporosis and review and update over 50 years of osteoporosis diagnosis and treatment. A new entity, "WC Back," will be presented.
