2024 WC Kitchen Tour

We as Westminster Canterbury Lynchburg residents enjoy our food. What we don't see is what goes on behind the scenes to prepare thousands of meals for all Westminster Canterbury residents! To give you some idea of the volume, in the last fiscal year (Oct-Sept), the Cafe produced over 140,000 meals which equates to, approximately, 382 meals per day. 6,000 meals were served in the Dogwood Dining Room and 35,100 meals were served in the Wood Dining Room for 41 Assisted Living residents. From the Healthcare kitchen located in Drinkard came 160,000 meals! Quite an operation to keep us all well fed!
