Mrs. JoAnn Garrett

JoAnn was born in Richmond, Virginia before her family moved to Ohio where she attended South Point High School. After graduating high school, JoAnn went onto Nursing School at MCV Richmond. 

JoAnn would then marry Dr. Garrett where she was a nurse at her husband’s office for 17 years before retiring. Together Dr. Garrett and JoAnn have four sons all of who reside in Lynchburg. Dr. Garrett passed away in June 2013. 

JoAnn enjoys spending her time volunteering at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She is also involved with the DAR and women’s club at Union Christian Church, Colonial Dames 17th Century, and enjoys crafts.
