Sandy and Linda Stuart

Sandy was born in the U.S. Canal Zone (Panama) and lived his childhood as an “Army Brat”, moving on average every couple of years. Linda was born in Englewood, New Jersey and graduated from Tenafly High School. Sandy graduated high school from McDonogh School, Maryland. Sandy attended and graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1961 and married Linda, the next day. They had a twenty year Army career, including two combat tours in Vietnam, two Pentagon assignments, before retiring from the service. Sandy went to Lynchburg College to earn the CPA and MBA designations. Linda worked as an instructor at ARC of Central Virginia until she retired in 1998. Sandy worked as an independent CPA and then as an investment manager of a local wealth management firm. 

Sandy is an elder at Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Church and participates in the choir and missions programs. He also enjoys writing, reading and TV sports. Linda sang in the church choir for twenty years and enjoys sewing, crafts, cooking, and reading. They both enjoy cruising.
