Martha Wilson

Bob was born in Lowell, NC, where he grew up and attended public schools. He is a graduate of Davidson College, Columbia Theological Seminary and McCormick Theological Seminary. He was a Presbyterian pastor in North Carolina and Virginia before retiring. 

Martha grew up in Laurens, South Carolina. She holds degrees from Winthrop College and Emory University. She was a library media specialist for the city schools and has taught English and French. 

Bob and Martha have three children. Volunteering is important to them both. Bob also likes following sports and exercising. Martha enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening. They consider Montreat, NC their ‘second home,’ and try to spend time there every summer. 

Bob died in 2021 while at  Westminster Canterbury in 2021.
