Lewis Marsh

Lewis Marsh is a lifelong resident of Lynchburg. Until his recent move to Westminster Canterbury, he maintained two residences, one in Lynchburg and a beautiful lakeside home at Smith Mountain Lake.

After attending Philips Business College, Lewis established a small accounting firm in town in 1961. His wife Sandra (deceased in 2012) was instrumental in helping him set up Lewis Marsh and Associates which eventually grew to a 10-person firm. Several of his clients were dentists and physicians, some of whom now reside at WC along with a number of his friends.

Son Terry Marsh and wife Jill, and daughter Robin Clarke and husband Victor, reside close by at Smith Mountain Lake. Daughter Gail Hoerr and husband Carter live in Charlottesville. Lewis has five grandchildren and one great grandson.

An avid sports enthusiast, Lewis follows football, basketball, and baseball. When not rooting for the Washington Redskins/Commanders, he follows the Miami Dolphins. You may also find him looking for a card game.

Lewis is a member of Court Street Methodist Church.
