Warren & Sharon Schultz

Warren and Sharon Schultz moved to Westminster Canterbury from Ford’s Colony in Williamsburg, Virginia, where they spent their last 20 years in retirement. Both New Yorkers, Warren was born and raised in Flushing, New York, while Sharon grew up in Port Chester. Married for 54 years, Warren and Sharon resided in Yorktown, New York for more than 30 years, where they raised their children. Son, Scott, lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, and has two grown children. Daughter, Heather, lives in Lynchburg with her husband, Wayne, and their two school age sons, Hudson and Parker. Yes, close enough to walk to WC for a visit!

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Business (Marketing) from New York University’s School of Commerce, Warren focused on a career in Advertising Sales and Sales Management, working for LOOK Magazine and serving as Advertising Director of Private Pilot Magazine. He then spent 20 years at NBC Radio Networks running their New York Sales Office followed by another 10 years at CBS Radio Networks. Turner Broadcasting was added to his resume, where he represented their many television and cable networks. During retirement at Ford’s Colony, Warren worked for several years as a retirement counselor at Windsor Meade CCRC.

Sharon earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Elementary Education from Fordham School of Education in the Bronx. She taught Kindergarten through 6th Grade after college, then after her children came along, found substitute teaching the best way to continue working while concentrating on family issues and raising her children.

Warren and Sharon share many wonderful memories, especially when hosting clients at major sporting events, including The Masters, baseball, football, and tennis championships. A highlight was their trip to the Norway Olympics in l994.

You can find Warren on the golf course and perhaps outdoors as a Master Gardener. While living in Yorktown, New York for 25 years, Sharon was a member of a Quilt Group and Knitting Group, so she may have her eye on our knitters and quilters here at WC.
