Max & Margaret Wycisk

Max and Margaret Wycisk come to Westminster Canterbury from Colorado. Their daughter Kaija Mortensen teaches Philosophy at Randolph College.  After college Max and Margaret moved to Colorado from Minnesota and have lived in Colorado for 55 years.  Max earned a doctorate from the University of Colorado at Boulder (Philosophy and Literature) and Margaret taught high school English at Westminster High School in Westminster, Colorado.  As time passed, Margaret continued her work with high school students, including developing a school literary and art magazine. During this time Margaret also expanded her own education to include a Masters Degree in the Humanities, focusing on art, literature and teaching.  While studying at the University of Colorado Max began to volunteer at a local public radio station. When he finished his graduate work at the University of Colorado he turned his full attention to the radio business and served as Executive Director of Colorado Public Radio.  Margaret and Max are now retired and look forward to their new life at Westminster Canterbury.
