Original Poetry
Prose—informative, amusing, inspiring pieces
Fiction or stories based on true experiences, under 2,500 words
Photographs included to accompany a submission will be accepted if of necessary reproduction quality
Book Review under 500 words

Submitted photos must hold a first published status for The Recorder.
Entries to be held to no more than two per resident and must be vertical shots.
A caption or description/location information must accompany the photograph.
Submission deadline for next issue published in current issue.

Entries must be clear enough for quality reproduction, i.e., original, or actual size.
Subject matter to be campus shots or seasonal shots. Also, acceptable - a photo of a painting, a piece of sculpture, a flower arrangement, or other creative endeavors executed by a resident.
A submitted photo not used for a cover will be returned to the resident who can resubmit the photo for the next issue.
Judging for Selection of Front and Back Covers
Selections will be made by an anonymous panel
Selected photographers will be notified prior to the distribution of The Recorder.
Guidelines for Other Photos
Authors of articles are encouraged to include related photos.
