Since website updaters can not be authorized at the webpage level an alternate procedure was established.  These updaters can be and were authorized to use a vehicle called “MyDrive”.  Their authorization can be to an individual MyDrive file or group of files.  Dining, Weekly Calendar, monthly Resident Update, Handbook, and several other webpages use this workaround.

Dining has a great variety of items that use this workaround. They range from the special announcements on their “front page” to the five weekly menu pages.

The following set of slides was prepared quite sometime ago for training Dining staff in this technique.  It is presented here since it has educational application to the other areas mentioned above.
