Weekly and Monthly Schedules
New Version Updates
Resident Life Group creates new Weekly and Monthly Schedules for distribution to Independent Living Residents. These are created using PUBLISHER. Not only are they used for printing, but they are saved in a history file by Katrina.
At the time they are ready for printing a .PDF file is created and is used indirectly to update the SCHEDULES page on the Resident web site. The following are instructions for updating the web site. The procedure is the same for both weekly and monthly updates.
Have ready the new week/month .pdf and the prior week/month .pdf because a pair of updatings must be done (Last Week/Month and This Week/Month).
(Skip this step if both .pdf files are available) In the event that only the new .pdf for the upcoming week is available there is a workaround. Go to the current web page and click on the now current This Week/Month. The resulting screen will then show the version that is to become the Last Week/Month. Click on Manage Versions, then click on three dots and select download.
Open the My Drive > Activities file folder.
Older Week/Month
Right Click on Last Week/Month
Select Manage Versions
Click Upload New Version
Choose the older .pdf and upload the new version
Newest Week/Month
Right Click on This Week/Month
Select Manage Versions
Click Upload New Version
Choose the newer .pdf and upload the new version
WHOOPS?
In the event that something went wrong or needs changing go to Manage Versions and click on the three dots of the erroneous upload and delete it.
Never delete the files called THIS WEEK, LAST WEEK, THIS MONTH, or LAST MONTH
