Using the Wood Shop

The wood shop is an invaluable resource to Westminster-Canterbury residents. All equipment and tools in the shop have been donated by past and current residents. Our two shop stewards work hard to make sure everything is in working order and that the shop is kept clean. They depend on all users to follow the use guidelines and safety recommendations and to report any problems or non-working equipment immediately to them using the Contact Form! 

There are five important overriding rules: (1) follow all safety procedures; (2) do not remove tools from the work shop; (3) return tools to where they are stored after using them; (4) always connect dust collector hose to equipment with connection ports; (5) and clean up work area and floor when you finish your session!
