The Resident Tech Support Team is made up of Westminister Canterbury residents who volunteer to assist fellow residents with problems with computers, TVs, smartphones and mobile tablets. We hope we can help you to fully utilize your devices or refer you to alternative sources for more technical assist or repair as needed.
Email, texting, googling, taking pictures... Isn't it amazing what our phones, tablets and laptops can do. One can save a picture one's daughter or son sends in a text and share it with others. You can make a reservation on our resident website for dinner at the James River Grille or Dogwood Dining Room. If you missed a Confab, you can watch it on the resident site. Want to learn more about a resident you just met? Then just go to the Bios page on the resident website. These are all great uses for those devices you hold in your hand or have sitting on a desk or your lap, but if they aren't working for you or if you don't know how to use a certain app, they're not much help to you.
And that's where the Resident Tech Support Team comes in. Check the list of residents who have volunteered to help and find someone who has experience with something with which your are having trouble, and call or email them. Tell them what you're having trouble with and they will arrange to help you or refer you to the right person.
